Women's Soccer Upended At Penn State Behrend Saturday Afternoon

ERIE- In a battle of unbeaten teams, Penn State Behrend scored a goal in both halves of play to take down the Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team 2-0 Saturday afternoon. 

Both teams entered Saturday's matchup holding 2-0 records in AMCC, and with the victory, Behrend improves to 5-5-0, and 3-0 in the AMCC, while Pitt-Greensburg falls to 6-3-1 and 2-1-0 in conference play. 

The goal allowed by the Bobcats was their first goal against in their last four games. Entering Saturday's match, Pitt-Greensburg had a shutout streak of 380:00.

Kaitlyn Watson made six saves for Pitt-Greensburg in defeat. Brenna McGuire scored both goals for Behrend, which came in the 18th and 48th minute.

Erika Caldro had the lone shot on goal for the Bobcats, which came in the 78th minute, as she drilled a shot on goal, but Madi Jones made a great save to keep the shutout in tact. 

Pitt-Greensburg returns to action Tuesday evening, when it travels to face Juniata at 6 pm.
