Women’s Soccer Posts 2-0 Shutout Against D’Youville Saturday Afternoon

GREENSBURG- Ashley Lucas and Tiffany Michalek each scored a goal and Lauren Yoder posted a shutout to lead the Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team to a 2-0 shutout against D'Youville Saturday afternoon at Ridilla Field.

With the win, Pitt-Greensburg improves to 11-0-0 overall and 3-0-0 in the conference, while D'Youville falls to 5-5-0, and 2-2-0 in the AMCC.

Lucas netted her 15th of the season in the ninth minute to put the Bobcats up 1-0 and just over five minutes into the second half, Michalek gave the Bobcats some breathing room with her 13th of the year.

The Bobcats outshot D'Youville by a 15-8 margin and held a 4-3 advantage in corner kick opportunities.

Yoder made five saves en route to her 10th win of the season and her eighth shutout.

Pitt-Greensburg returns to action Wednesday evening when it takes to the road to face Penn State Altoona at 8:15 pm.
