Women’s Soccer Keeps Shutout Streak Alive With 3-0 Win At Muskingum

New Concord, Ohio - The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team recorded their third-straight shutout in a 3-0 win over Muskingum University. With this win, the Bobcats start the season off with a record of 3-0.

Sophomore Lauren Yoder continued her shutout streak by stopping all six shots that she faced. Yoder's shutout streak currently stands at 270 minutes. 

Ashley Lucas opened up the scoring in the 38th minute of the game off a 50 yard free kick. Lucas then scored again in the 57th minute, to put Pitt-Greensburg up 2-0. The Bobcat freshman took a pass from Juliana Bedoya and buried the indirect kick it into the back of the net. 

Tiffany Michalek scored the final goal of the game in the 72nd minute, sealing the 3-0 victory.

Pitt-Greensburg is back in action Wednesday (Sept 11th) at 4:30 as they take on Chatham University at Ridilla Field.
