10/10/2021 6:32:00 PM

Box Score GREENSBURG, PA – The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg women's tennis team celebrated senior day this afternoon prior to their match against Seton Hill University. The Bobcats honored Miranda Berkebile and Rachel Davis.

Head Coach Doug Smeltzer honored Davis with kind words prior to the match and emphasized much gratitude and congratulations for her great career in the Blue and Gold. Berkebile was unfortunately not able to attend the match, but her contributions to the program and her great accomplishments do not go unnoticed.

Seton Hill, an NCAA Division II member, won the match 9-0. They took home doubles with two 8-2 decisions and an 8-1 win in the #3 spot. All six singles matches went the Griffins way in straight sets.

Isabella Lane and Grace O'Malley would get the closest of any Bobcat in their singles matches, each falling by scores of 6-4, 6-3.

Pitt-Greensburg has finished the regular season with an 8-2 record. The Bobcats now turn their attention towards the postseason and are in search of their first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference tournament championship.

The AMCC Tournament is a two-day event and will begin at 2:30 pm Saturday, October 16 at the Oxford Athletic Club in Wexford, Pa. The Bobcats are the #1 seed after a 6-0 conference record.
