The Pitt-Greensburg women's tennis team battled Penn State Altoona at Alder Tennis Courts on Wednesday afternoon but sadly lost 7-0 against the Lions.  

Penn State Altoona grabbed the advantage of sweeping the Bobcats in all the doubles matches. At No. 1 doubles were Gabi Moder and Jazzy cherry against Shuke and Blessel, and lost 6-2, while at No. 2 doubles Jessica Garcia and Jenna Eutsey played Morgan and Fell with a score of 6-0. Lastly, Emily Spino and Audrey Johnson were at No. 3 versus Colaianni and Fulton with a 6-0 decider.  

Going into singles, Penn State Altoona had the early lead advantage 1-0 with the doubles matches.  

At No. 1 singles Gabi Moder faced Shuke, falling 6-2, 6-3. Jazzy Cherry battled Blessel at No. 2 before falling 6-1, 6-0. At No. 3 singles, Jessica Garcia competed against Colaianni, dropping the match 6-0, 6-2. Emily Spino fell to Sienna Fell. 6-0, 6-0, No. 4. Audrey Johnson battled with Morgan but ended up falling 6-0, 6-1. Lastly, No. 6 singles were Jenna Eutsey against Fulton with a loss of 6-0, 6-0.  

The Bobcats are now 3-4 on the season and will return home to The Greensburg Racquet to welcome Penn State Behrend on September 20th for a 1:30 matchup.
