Bobcats Drop Tough Match to Greater Allegheny on Saturday

MCKEESPORT, PA - The Bobcat Women's Volleyball team traveled to McKeesport, PA to take part in two matches at Penn State Greater Allegheny. Pitt-Greensburg came up short in their matches against the Lions of Greater Allegheny and the Jackets of Waynesburg, losing both sets 3-0. 
 
UPG took on PSUGA in the first match of the day. The Bobcats lost the 3-0 decision by set scores of 25-20, 25-14, and 25-23. Emma Halutick led the team in kills with 12, while Abigail Lescallette let the team in digs with 24. Taylor Logan once again was the assist leader for UPG, contributing 17 assists. 
 
Greater Allegheny out attacked the Bobcats, tallying 45 kills compared to UPG's 29. The Lions also had less attack errors than the Bobcats, as they had nine while UPG compiled 20.
 
The Bobcats also dropped their second match of the day to Waynesburg 3-0. There are not any stats available for this match currently. 
 
The Bobcats have three matches this week, including two in Chambers Hall Gymnasium. UPG will take on Saint Vincent and Hiram at home on Wednesday and Saturday while they will travel to Bethany on Thursday.
