Women's Tennis Sweeps Pitt-Bradford, 9-0

Box Score BRADFORD, PA - The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg women's tennis team dominated Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference foe, Pitt-Bradford, 9-0, this afternoon. 

The Bobcats improve to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in AMCC play. The Panthers drop to 0-2 on the season.

Doubles:

Miranda Berkebile and Cathryn Rossi owned the first doubles match with an 8-3 win.

Emily Ruhlman and Abigail Rosman put the Bobcats up 2-0 with a convincing 8-1 victory.

Kelsey Murphy and Isabella Lane rounded out doubles play just how it started, with an 8-3 Pitt-Greensburg win.

Singles:

All six singles matches were won in straight sets by the Bobcats.

Rosman double bageled her opponent with a clean 6-0, 6-0 sweep.

Ruhlman only surrendered one game in the number one spot, with a 6-1, 6-0 win.

Berkebile, Rossi, Amber Sterrett, and Mariah Ulery finished off the clean sweep in singles play.


Pitt-Greensburg will stay on the road this weekend for a match tomorrow at Penn State Behrend. First service is slated for 1 pm.
