WASHINGTON, PA – The University of PIttsburgh at Greensburg women's tennis team dropped a non-conference matchup this afternoon at Washington and Jefferson College, 7-2.
The loss moves the Bobcats to 5-2 on the season.
Doubles:
Amber Sterrett and Abigail Rosman picked up an 8-5 victory in the #2 spot in doubles to get Pitt-Greensburg on the board.
W&J owned the #1 and #3 match by an identical score of 8-3 to take a 2-1 lead into singles play.
Singles:
Isabella Lane took down her opponent in the #5 spot in straight sets (6-4, 6-3) for the lone Bobcats singles win.
The Presidents won each of the other singles matches via two set sweeps to secure their match victory.
The Bobcats return to conference play on Friday, when they travel to La Roche University. First service is slated for 7 pm.
