Bobcats Earn Hard-Fought AMCC Win

GREENSBURG – It was the usual names that propelled the Bobcats in a hard-fought win against Penn State Altoona as Ashley Lucas and Megan Hickey found the back of the net in the second half to give the Bobcats a 2-0 win. Lucas' goal came in the 59th minute while Hickey drilled a penalty kick in the 67th minute.
 
Freshman Hailey Kepner recorded three saves and earned a shutout against the Lions. Overall, the Bobcats outshot the Lions 25 to six and had 11 more shots on goal. Ashley Lucas led the team in shots with six while Alexsia Barlamas and Hickey had five shots each. All five of Hickey's shots were on goal while four of Lucas were on goal.
 
The Bobcats will travel to Erie for the AMCC Game of the week where there will be a rematch of the last two AMCC Championship matches against Behrend.
