Women's Soccer Gets Regular Season Revenge on Behrend

ERIE – The Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats and Penn State Behrend Lions have met in the last two AMCC Women's Soccer Championship with each team taking one of the contests. Today's matchup at Behrend most likely would determine who controls their own destiny to home field in the AMCC Playoffs.
 
The Bobcats defeated the Lions 3-1 with goals from Megan Hickey, Maya Wertelet and Ashley Lucas. Hickey's goal was her 17th of the season while Lucas was her 15th. Wertelet, the third leading goal scorer on the team, recorded her eighth goal of the season with her tally today.

Freshman Hailey Kepner got the start in net and made three saves on her way to the win. 
 
The win gives the Bobcats the opportunity to control their own destiny to become the No. 1 seed in the AMCC Playoffs. The Bobcats will take on the Mounties of Mount Aloysius on Tuesday for the last regular season match of the season. The game will be in Cresson.
