Lucas Breaks Point s Record; Bobcats Down Mounties

CRESSON – Another match, another record goes down in favor of senior Ashley Lucas as with her two goals and an assist against Mount Aloysius, she officially became the all-time points leader in Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer history. Lucas scored two goals on four shots and played 68 minutes for the Bobcats in the team's final regular season game. Pitt-Greensburg defeated the Mounties 4-0. Abby Henise and Becca Kubler also scored in the match.
 
Freshman Megan Hickey had two assists in the match to bring her regular season point total to 40 points, good enough for second on the team. AMCC Defensive Player of the Week Hailey Kepner faced two shots and made both saves for the Bobcats.
 
Pitt-Greensburg continued to keep the pressure on the defense as they took 13 corner kicks in the match. The Bobcats finished the regular season second in the country in corner kicks per match with 9.00 a match.
 
The Bobcats have secured a first-round bye in the AMCC Tournament. The Bobcats will face the winner of Penn State-Altoona and Hilbert. The match will be on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 2 PM.
