Volleyball Drops Senior Day Matchup Against Behrend

GREENSBURG – It was a day to celebrate the two seniors of the 2022 Bobcat women's volleyball team inside Chambers Hall on Saturday. Emma Hakutick and Savanna Stephens went through the pregame festivities to celebrate their careers and then took the court with the rest of their Pitt-Greensburg teammates against the Lions of Penn-State Behrend.
 
The Bobcats fell behind by double digit points in two of the sets and came rallying back, however, the Lions were able to persevere through the fight of the Bobcats to take the match 3-0. Halutick and Stephens led the way offensively for the Bobcats, combining for 16 kills. Stephens also had nine digs.
 
Junior Taylor Logan had five service aces during the match as she had it going when she was starting the rallies. Kaylee George led the Bobcats in assists and had ten digs. Alanna Meloy led the team in digs with 13.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will finish the season with two road games, first against Mount Aloysius on Wednesday, followed by a trip to Hilbert next weekend.
