Bobcats Play to Draw with Juniata

YOUNGWOOD – In a matchup that has been controlled by the Eagles of Juniata in recent times, the teams battled to a result that left neither team victorious. Pitt-Greensburg and Juniata played to a 0-0 draw on Wednesday, just the third 0-0 draw for the Bobcats since 2011.

Even with the 0-0 draw, this year's matchup seemed to be dominated in every other category by the Bobcats. Pitt-Greensburg held the Eagles without a shot on goal while the Bobcats tallied four. Juniata was able to get just one shot throughout the game, with none coming in the second half.

Pitt-Greensburg kept the pressure in the Eagles' half of the field while the Bobcats notched nine corner kicks compared to just one for Juniata. Ashley Lucas, Alexsia Barlamas, Logan Jennings, and Megan Hickey all recorded multiple shots during the game.

Pitt-Greensburg got a lot of players into the action as 21 players took the field for the Bobcats with Becca Kubler and Hannah Gesinski leading the way for the reserves, playing 32 and 33 minutes respectively.

Brooke Ianarelli, Nylah Pannebaker and Abby Henise were the only three Bobcat players that played the full 90. Hailey Kepner played in goal for The Bobcats and did not face a single shot on goal.

Pitt-Greensburg will jump back into AMCC play this Saturday as Alfred State visits Ridilla Field. It will also be Senior Day for the Bobcats.
