Bobcats Earn Fourth Draw of Season

GREENSBURG – The Bobcat men's soccer team recognized senior Robert Reed before their AMCC matchup against Alfred State on Saturday. It was fitting being that the game that started recognizing a defenseman ended in a 0-0 draw.
 
It was a defensive struggle as both teams were physical with each other and did not let the opponent's offensive players get loose. Pitt-Greensburg held its rotation to just 14 players with three reserves coming into the game. The starters carried the load as freshmen Zander Plizga and Caleb Yuricha combined for half of the team's shots.
 
Only four shots combined for both teams got on goal. Both teams were deadlocked at four corner kicks while, even with it being a physical game, there were only six fouls.
 
The Bobcats will be back at Ridilla Field on Tuesday when they host the RedHawks of La Roche.
