Volleyball Falls to Alfred State in Saturday Doubleheader

ALFRED,NY – It was yet another trip north for the Bobcat Volleyball team, this time traveling to Alfred State to take on the Pioneers in a weekend doubleheader. One of these two games was Pitt-Greensburg's first AMCC matchup while the second of the two was considered a nonconference match.
 
The Bobcats were led by their seniors in the first match as Emma Halutick and Savanna Stephens were at the top of the Bobcats scoresheet in kills, blocks, aces, and digs. There were also plenty of contributions from the other Bobcats as well as the team tallied 71 dig, 28 assists and 29 kills in the match.
 
It was a rough second match for the Bobcats as they dropped it in three sets. Taylor Logan led the team with 11 assists as Halutick led in kills while also having seven digs and a service ace. Abby Copeland led the team with nine digs.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will continue AMCC play this Wednesday as they welcome the RedHawks of La Roche to Chambers Hall. First serve will be at 7 PM.
