Hoehler Shines in Women's Basketball Loss to Mount Union

ALLIANCE, OH – Down to just seven players for the game against Mount Union, injuries have wreaked havoc on the Bobcats season thus far. With these injuries, there are opportunities for other players. Freshman Kayla Hoehler seized that opportunity tonight as she scored a career-high 17 points in Pitt-Greensburg's loss to Mount Union.
 
Hoehler also recorded four rebounds, three blocks and had one steal while shooting four-of-eight from behind the arc. Hoehler's classmate Madison Scalese was the team's second leading scorer with seven points in 30 minutes played.
 
Seniors Ashley Barker and Lizzie Penrose also played for over 30 minutes, scoring six points each. Freshman Tiana Moracco made her second-consecutive start and scored six points as well.
 
The tough stretch continues for the Bobcats as they have three more games before the Thanksgiving holiday with all three being inside Chambers Hall. The first of the three-game home stretch will be this Saturday as the Bobcats welcome the Tartans of Carnegie Mellon to Greensburg. Tip off will be at 3 PM.
