GREENSBURG – It was a day that the Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team learned a lot about itself today as they faced Penn State Beaver with six active players, four being freshmen. Chloe Lukondi led the Bobcats in scoring with 23 points while shooting 8 of 22 from the floor. Senior Lizzie Penrose finished the game with a 13-point, 12 rebound double-double in 37 minutes played.

The Lions forced the Bobcats into 28 turnovers due to their hounding defense and full court press. Pitt-Greensburg was only able to record 13 assists. The Bobcats shot 27.5 percent from the floor and 18.2 percent from behind the arc. The team had its best shooting performance from the free-throw line this season, shooting over 85 percent from the charity stripe.

The Pitt-Greensburg defense was also tough on Beaver as they forced the Lions into 29 turnovers, The Bobcats scored 22 points off those turnovers. The Lions dominated in the paint, scoring 44 of the team's 71 points in the lane.
