Women's Basketball Falls to Seton Hill

GREENSBURG – The Bobcats welcomed cross-town rival Seton Hill to Chambers Hall on Tuesday evening. The Griffins felt right at home, putting up 72 shots over the course of the game, defeating the Bobcats 71-36. Freshman Kayly Hoehler and Tiana Moracco had solid games for Pitt-Greensburg. Hoehler led the team with 11 points while Moracco secured a career-high ten rebounds to go along with seven points.

Once again, the Bobcats were playing with just one reserve, however, it could be argued that this performance was the best of the season. The Griffins forced the Bobcats into just 16 turnovers while Pitt-Greensburg recorded ten assists. Moracco also led the team in assist with three.

Another positive for the Bobcats was their performance form the free-throw line. Pitt-Greensburg went 7-10 from the charity stripe, including 6-8 in the fourth quarter. A sore sport for Pitt-Greensburg was giving up 18 offensive rebounds to the Griffins, resulting in 23 second chance points.

The Bobcats will now be off for Thanksgiving and will return next Tuesday when they travel to Westminster to take on the Titans.
