GREENSBURG – The Pitt-Greensburg men's tennis team is geared up for the AMCC Championship Tournament this weekend. The fourth-seeded Bobcats will take on the top-seeded Penn State Altoona Lions in the first round on Saturday.

Pitt-Greensburg enters the playoffs with a 3-7 record overall and a 2-3 mark in conference play. The Lions went 4-7 in the regular season, but claimed four of five conference matches to earn the #1 seed.

Turner Price comes into the postseason with a perfect 9-0 record, the best record in the AMCC. Preston Hunt sits at .500 in singles play with a 4-4 record for the Blue and Gold.

In doubles play, Price and Deven Summers are 6-3 to lead the Bobcats on the court.

Casey Hess leads the Lions into the Championship Tournament with a 9-1 singles record and will likely matchup against Price for the #1 singles match tomorrow.

When the teams met in the regular season Penn State Altoona won the matchup 8-1 on February 20th in Altoona. Turner Price was the only Bobcat to win a match on the day, as he earned the school record for singles wins and overall wins with the victory in the #1 singles match that day.
