Women's Soccer Blanks Carlow

CORAOPOLIS – Women's Soccer extended their win streak to five games and recorded the team's fourth shutout of the season, as they defeated Carlow 4-0. Megan Hickey, Ashley Lucas, and Becca Kubler each scored for Pitt-Greensburg as the back line held the Celtics to just one shot on goal.
 
After recording 30 shots on Geneva on Sept. 12, the Bobcats put up its second-most shots this season, as they peppered the back line of the Celtics and recorded 27 shots, with 12 of them getting on goal. The familiar names of Lucas and Hickey led the charge with seven and five shots respectively, with each getting three on net.
 
Sophomore Paige John recorded her second shutout of the year, making one save on they day. Junior Nylah Pannebaker recorded an assist on the day.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will rest up this week before playing their conference opener and another non-conference game in back-to-back days. The Bobcats will face Hilbert on Saturday and then travel to Ohio Wesleyan on Sunday.
