Men's Basketball Races to Huge Win Over Mount Aloysius

GREENSBURG – The Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team played a dominant game against Mount Aloysius, especially in the second half when the Bobcats held the Mounties to just nine points in the final 12 minutes. JoJo France finished the night with 39 points, good enough to tie 2023 Pitt-Greensburg Athletics Hall of Famer Jim Kubicek for third most points in a game for the Bobcats men's basketball team.
 
Pitt-Greensburg eclipsed the century mark for the first time this season, defeating Mount Aloysius 104-70. On top of France's career-night, juniors Octavius Hardy and Reggie Priah each recorded double-doubles for the Bobcats.
 
Freshman Ryan Greggerson had a huge second half, scoring nine points for the game and securing six rebounds. Matthew Marichak also scored in double-digits, dropping ten points to go with four rebounds and two steals.
 
Overall, the Bobcats had just 14 turnovers. Pitt-Greensburg was able to amass 35 bench points and score 54 points in the paint. The Bobcat big men played huge, holding the Mounties to just 22 points in the paint. Will Hagwood was the top scorer for Mount, scoring 22 points. The Mounties had four player score in double-digits.
 
The Bobcats will play their second game in three days this Saturday as the Pioneers of Alfred State make the trip to Chambers Hall. Tip off will be at 2 PM.
