McCully Has Career Night as Bobcats Demolish Mounties

CRESSON – The Bobcat women's basketball team started yet another win streak, defeating the Mounties of Mount Aloysius on its home court 72-36. Senior Sidney McCully may have had the most impressive stat line of the season, scoring 17 points, dishing out ten assists, swiping away six steals, swatting away five blocks, and securing five rebounds. McCully did all of this while turning the ball over just one time.
 
The Bobcats also received a solid contribution from sophomore guard Melina Maietta who scored 15 points and secured six rebounds. Maietta also recorded three steals. Freshman Chloe Lukondi scored nine points and secured three rebounds while senior Lizzie Penrose had five points and five rebounds.
 
The Bobcats controlled the ball and held themselves to just 11 turnovers. Pitt-Greensburg forced the Mounties into 29 turnovers and scored 28 points off of those 29 turnovers.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will return home to Chambers Hall this Saturday to take on the Pioneers of Alfred State. The Bobcats squeaked out its first matchup with the Pioneers, making two free throws with less than two seconds left.
 
Tip off will be at 4 PM.
