McCully Leads Women's Basketball Past Hilbert

GREENSBURG – The Pitt-Greensburg Women's Basketball team secured its fifth win in the last five games and its first conference win against the Hawks of Hilbert. Sidney McCully led the way with 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists while only recording one turnover. Chloe Lukondi also had a huge game, scoring 18 points and grabbing three rebounds. Melina Maietta also scored in double-figures.
 
Pitt-Greensburg shot 47.6 percent from the floor, with a lot of its buckets coming on the fast break. The Bobcats scored 33 points off of the 24 turnovers they forced. Ashley Schroeder had the team high for Hilbert as shew as the only player in double-figures for the Hawks.
 
The Bobcats started with a bang, shooting over 61 percent in the first quarter. They also finished well. Shooting over 54 percent in the fourth quarter. All- together, Pitt-Greensburg missed just one free throw during the game while Hilbert went just 10-of-20.
 
The Bobcats will travel north and take on Alfred State in search of another conference win.
