Bobcats Fall in AMCC Opener

ALTOONA – The Pitt-Greensburg Volleyball Team took the court in their first conference match of the 2023 season tonight. The Bobcats battled the Lions of PS Altoona, dropping the match in three sets.
 
Freshman Madison Friess led the team with eight kills, 13 digs, and two blocks. Junior Jadyn Zemba also had double-digit digs with 12. The Bobcats scored 16 points in set one, followed by 21 in set two, and then 14 in set three. Pitt-Greensburg had a positive attack percentage in set two, the best set of the evening, but could not duplicate that in either of the other sets. 
 
The Bobcats will travel north to Aurora, NY to play in a tri-match with AMCC opponent Wells and St. John Fisher. First serves will be at 1 and 3 PM.
