Wertelet's Huge Game Leads Women's Soccer Over Altoona

ALTOONA – A four-goal second half led the Pitt-Greensburg Women's Soccer team to a victory at Spring Run Stadium on the campus of Penn State Altoona Wednesday evening. Maya Wertelet scored two goals for the Bobcats with Logan Jennings and Megan Hickey also scoring for Pitt-Greensburg. Wertelet had five points in the game with the two goals and she also assisted on Hickey's goal. 
 
The Bobcats gave up just five shots, with four of them getting on goal. The Bobcats were able to record 17 shots, 11 of t hose coming in the second half. Sophomore keeper Hailey Kepner made four saves for the Bobcats on the way to yet another clean sheet. 
 
The Bobcats will take on the Express of Wells College this Saturday at Kelly Field on the campus of Mount Aloysius College. Kickoff will be at 2 pm.
