Men's Basketball Fall to Wolverines in Season Opener

GROVE CITY -  It was Opening Day for the Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team as they took on the Wolverines of Grove City inside Grove City College Arena. The Bobcats dropped the game 80-70, but four Bobcats finished scoring in double digits. 
 
Freshman Trent Rozich led the team with 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals while Matthew Marinchak has 16 points of his own while hitting the Bobcats three makes from behind the arc. Jackson Byer recorded a team-high six steals in the game while the Bobcats had 14 steals overall. Micah Jones also played well with ten points and seven rebounds over a team-high 34 minutes. 
 
The Bobcats will be back in Chambers Hall for the home opener on Wednesday as they welcome the Hiram Terriers to Greensburg. The men's game will start at 7:30, shortly after the women have their home opener against Waynesburg at 5:30.
