Women's Basketball Takes Down Jackets in Home Opener

GREENSBURG – The Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team took their home opener behind an offensive fury, including four players scoring in double digits.
 
Melina Maietta and Anna Durbin led the way for the Bobcats as Maietta scored 21 points and dished out six assists. Durbin had 19 points and three rebounds. Sarah Penrod and Tiana Moracco also good scoring nights as they put away 14 and 13 respectively. The Bobcats had 17 assists in the game. Moracco also had eight rebounds to go with her 13 points. Madison Scalese stuffed the stat sheet as she recorded six points, six rebounds and three assists. The Bobcats reserves scored 35 points to help lead the way.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will have the weekend off before they travel to Carnegie Mellon next Tuesday.
