Maietta Drops 26, Women's Basketball Falls to Altoona

ALTOONA – 26 points on 11 of 26 from the floor for Melina Maietta led the Bobcat women's basketball team, but it wasn't enough as the Lions of PS Altoona outscored Pitt-Greensburg 27-5 in the first quarter and didn't look back. Altoona defeated the Bobcats 78-61.
 
Maietta was able to dish out three assists and swipe away three steals while playing the full 40 minutes. Tiana Moracco had 13 points and eight rebounds while going 7-for-8 from the free-throw line. Madison Scalese played 35 minutes and scored seven points while bringing down six rebounds.
 
The Bobcats will return back to Chambers Hall this Saturday as they will face PS Behrend at 2:00 PM.
