Women's Basketball Drops AMCC Home Opener to Behrend

GREENSBURG – The Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team hosted AMCC rival PS Behrend today in Chambers Hall. The Bobcats struggled from the field, shooting just 23 percent and had 23 turnovers as the Lions defeated the Bobcats 93-43.
 
Melina Maietta led the Bobcats in scoring with 12 points. She also had six rebounds. Tiana Moracco was also in double-figures with ten points and five rebounds. Reigning AMCC Player of the Week Rachel Majewski scored 30 for the Lions as she went 4-for6 from behind the arc.
 
The Bobcats will play host to AMCC newcomer in Carlow this Wednesday as the Celtics make their first appearance in Chambers Hall as an AMCC opponent. Tip off will be at 7:00 PM.
