Women's Basketball Hits The Boards in AMCC Win Over Carlow

GREENSBURG – The Bobcat Women's Basketball team brough in 58 rebounds, good enough to be tied for fifth in program history, including 13 from sophomore Madison Scalese and ten for freshman Sarah Penrod to lead the team in a 76-64 win over the Celtics of Carlow. The win give the Bobcats the team's first conference victory of the season.
 
Junior Melina Maietta matched her season high in points with 26 on 9-of-16 shooting. She also added five rebounds and four assists. Scalese notched her first double-double of the season with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Penrod had a career high in rebounds to go with two assists and four points. Sophomore Tiana Moracco dropped 11 while bringing in seven rebounds. Freshman Malina Boord had a career-high 17 points to go with nine rebounds and three assists.
 
The Bobcats will travel to New York to take on Alfred State this weekend. Tip off will be at 1:00 PM.
