GREENSBURG – The Bobcat men's basketball team trailed the Chargers by 13 at halftime, but brought the game back within six points with under ten minutes left in the second half. The Bobcats couldn't come any closer, as the Chargers took the New Year's Eve game 95-75.
Pitt-Greensburg sophomore
Matthew Marinchak played 36 of the 40 minutes and scored 26 points.
Trent Rozich put in 16 points. The Bobcats battled even with their bench being down to four subs. Junior
Joshua Mentzer stepped up and played solid minutes for Pitt-Greensburg as he scored a career-high eight points and secured seven rebounds while also playing a career-high 21 minutes.Fellow Junior
Tyler Watkins also added eight points of his own.
The Bobcats will head back to AMCC play this Wednesday as they travel to Hilbert to take on the Hawks. Tip-off will be at 3:00 PM.
