Melina Maietta sink a layup and two free throws to seal the game led the Bobcats to their second-consecutive AMCC win, this time over the Pioneers of Alfred State.
Five Bobcats scored in double figures including 22 by Maietta and 18 by Penrod. Sophomores
Tiana Moracco and
Madison Scalese combined for 21 points and 19 rebounds, with Moracco recording a 11-point, 10-rebound double-double. Freshman
Malina Boord also played well, scoring ten points, and bringing in eight rebounds while dishing out six assists.
The Bobcats will go into finals week feeling good and will take the court next in a non-conference matchup against Wooster on Dec. 16. They will then host the Titans of Westminster on the 18 at 2 PM.
