Women's Basketball Rolls Past Mounties

GREENSBURG – The Bobcat women's basketball team dominated from start to finish in the teams 77-48 win over Mount Aloysius. Senior Sidney McCully scored a game-high 17 points to go with seven steals, five assists and three rebounds. Freshman Madison Scalese scored a career-high 16 points to go with nine rebounds. Sophomore Melina Maietta dropped 15 while going 5-for-5 from the free-throw line.
 
The Bobcats got to the free-throw line 29 times in the game, hitting 23 of those shots. The team shot 12 more free throws than the Mounties. Pitt-Greensburg shot 18 free throws in the second half alone. The top three scorers for the Bobcats went 13-for-14 from the charity stripe alone.
 
Freshman Anna Durbin also had a breakout game as she played nine minutes and scored nine points while not missing an attempt of any kind. Freshmen Chloe Lukondi and Tiana Moracco also played huge roles in the won, scoring seven points and eight points respectively.
 
The Bobcats will finish its regular season this Saturday as they take on Behrend in Erie. Tip off will be at 4 PM.
