Bobcats Thrive in the Concrete Jungle

Pittsburgh, Pa – The Bobcats took the Highmark Stadium pitch today, hosting Waynesburg in the shadows of the Pittsburgh skyline. The Bobcats came out victorious as sophomore Maya Wertelet and Freshman Paige Inman both scored while junior keeper Paige John posted a clean sheet to bring the Bobcats record back to even.
 
John made five saves over the match. The Bobcats held the Jackets to just one shot in the second half. Wertelet's goal came in the closing minutes of the first half, while Inman was able to put the game away with a goal in the 80'.
 
The Bobcats will be back on the pitch this weekend as they host The College of Wooster at Dick's Sporting Goods Field on the campus of Seton Hill University. Kickoff will be at 1 pm.
