Volleyball Falls to Bearcats in Four Sets

Cresson – The Pitt-Greensburg volleyball team was back on the court today for the first time in seven days. The Bobcats took on the Bearcats of Saint Vincent in the latest edition of the Battle of Route 30, only this match was played in the Athletic Convocation & Wellness Center on the campus of Mount Aloysius College.
 
The Bobcats dropped the match in four sets after Saint Vincent took the first two and the final fourth set. Pitt-Greensburg was able to battle to a third-set win, but the Bearcats proved to be too powerful. Freshman Madison Friess led the Bobcats with nine kills, while fellow freshman Mia Stohon had four blocks. Alanna Meloy had 29 digs while Friess was second on the team with 20.
 
The Bobcats will be back in Chambers Hall this Thursday as they host AMCC foe La Roche at 7 pm.
