Women's Soccer Earns Draw With Behrend

YOUNGWOOD – An early goal by Bobcat sophomore Megan Hickey put Pitt-Greensburg ahead of the Lions of PS Behrend, not even two minutes into the match, but the Lions battled the rest of the way nd kept the Bobcats tame as the teams finished with a 1-1 draw.
 
Junior keeper Paige John made five saves on six shots for the Bobcats, while the offense was able to get just two shots on goal in the match. Pitt-Greensburg was able to keep the pressure on the Lions, recording five corner kicks compared to just one for Behrend. Lizzie Hoff scored the goal for Behrend in the 40th minute.
 
The Bobcats will be back in action this Wednesday when they travel to Altoona to take on the Lions. Kickoff will be at 7 pm.
