Women's Soccer Edged by Saint Vincent

Latrobe, Pa – The latest edition of the Battle of Route 30 was on the pitch today as the Bobcat women's soccer team traveled to the campus of Saint Vincent to take on the Bearcats. The Bobcats came in on a five-game winning streak against the Bearcats, however, Saint Vincent was able to edge out Pitt-Greensburg 1-0.
 
It was a family affair for Bobcat sophomore Kylie Smith as she took on her sister, Ashley Smith, who is a freshman starter on the Saint Vincent club. While neither sister scored, the two played a combined 165 minutes with three shots. Junior Keeper Paige John made eight saves over the 90 minutes.
 
The Bobcats will travel to Eastern Pennsylvania this week and will have yet another family affair on Saturday as Bobcat junior Logan Jennings will take on her twin sister, Jordyn, and the rest of the Wilkes University Colonels. Kickoff will be at 1 PM.
