Men's Basketball Races Mounties Out of Chambers Hall

GREENSBURG – The Bobcat men's basketball team earned its second-consecutive AMCC win behind a game-high 29 points by sophomore Matthew Marinchak who made five three-pointers and went 5-for-5 from the free throw line to close out the game. Junior Joshua Mentzer was second on the team with 16 points while Trent Rozich and James Evans-Mcquay also scored in double-figures.
 
The Bobcats went 21-of-27 from the free throw line and hit 31 field goals in the second half alone. Pitt-Greensburg forced 21 Mount Aloysius turnover and scored 23 points off those turnovers. The Bobcats also scored 30 of their points in transition. Rozich finished the game with 13 points and 12 rebounds, including a dagger with a coast-to-coast layup off a Mountie turnover with under a minute left.
 
The Bobcats will travel to PS Behrend this Saturday for a key AMCC matchup against the Lions. The game will tip off at 4:00 PM as part of a doubleheader.
