Women's Basketball Drops AMCC Game of the Week

ERIIE – The Bobcat women's basketball team took on the PS Behrend Lions in the AMCC Game of the Week today. Tiana Moracco and Madison Scalese each had a double-double for the Bobcats, but the bench was only able to contribute six points. The Lions defeated the Bobcats 88-73.
 
 
Melina Maietta scored a team-high 23 points while Moracco and Scalese had 16 and 14 points respectively to go with 14 and ten rebounds. Freshman Malina Boord also scored 14 points while also contributing eight rebounds and four assists. The Lions turned the ball over just three times in the game, limiting the Bobcats' fast break points and points off turnovers.
 
The Bobcats will return home on Wednesday with the Lions of PS Altoona visiting Chambers Hall. Tip off will be at 7:00 PM.
