Bobcat Big Three Lead Women's Basketball Over Alfred State

GREENSBURG – A career-high 25 points for Pitt-Greensburg freshman Sarah Penrod, as well as 24 points from junior Melina Maietta and 21 points to go with 15 rebounds from sophomore Tiana Moracco led the Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team over the Pioneers of Alfred state. The Big three scored 70 of the team's 79 points in the win.
 
Maietta scored ten of her 24 points from the free throw line, going 10-for-10 from the charity stripe. Overall, the Bobcats went 22-for27 from the free throw line. Pitt-Greensburg held Alfred Sate to just 3-of-13 from behind the arc. Sophomore Madison Scalese brought in seven rebounds of her own and tallied two assists.
 
Pitt-Greensburg now sits at 7-5 in AMCC play and will travel to Carlow on Wednesday to help better their standing. Tip off will be at 7:00 PM
