Men's Basketball Races Past Celtics

GREENSBURG – The Bobcat duo of Matthew Marinchak and Trent Rozich combined for 41 points and 16 rebounds to lead Pitt-Greensburg over the Celtics of Carlow. Sophomore Jackson Byer also had 16 points of his own while going a perfect 4-for-4 from behind the arc. Ryan Greggerson scored ten points and secured eight rebounds in 19 minutes for the Bobcats.
 
Both Marinchak and Rozich played the full 40 minutes while James Evan-Mcquay played 36 minutes himself. Byer scored his 16 points and swiped four steals and assisted on six baskets in 23 minutes. The Bobcats shot 50 percent from three-point range and a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line. The Bobcats had a season best 22 assists and just ten turnovers.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will travel to Aurora, NY this weekend to take on the Express of Wells College. Both teams are coming off of midweek wins as Wells defeated Pitt-Bradford on Wednesday. Tip off will be at 3:00 PM.
