Men's Soccer Falls to Mount Aloysius

GREENSBURG- The Pitt-Greensburg men's soccer team fell to Mount Aloysius by a score of 3-1 in their recent AMCC matchup at Ridilla Field. The game started with Mount Aloysius gaining an early advantage, scoring two goals within the first 15 minutes. Despite efforts to regroup, UPG faced an uphill battle going into the second half.

Pitt-Greensburg's only goal came from Matt Armenio, who scored his 8th goal in the 58th minute to cut into the deficit. Armenio's performance included two shots on goal, leading UPG offensively. Brett Barnes made eight saves in goal, keeping the team within reach for most of the contest despite the pressure from Mount Aloysius.

With the loss, UPG's overall record stands at 3-9-1, with a conference record of 2-2-0. They will look to bounce back on Saturday, October 19th, as they host Hilbert College in a crucial AMCC match up.
