Pitt-Greensburg Floods Carlow 6-0

GREENSBURG - The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team secured a dominant 6-0 victory against Carlow on October 29, 2024, at Ridilla Field in Greensburg. This win improved UPG's record to 10-3-3 (6-1-0).

UPG started strong, scoring five goals in the first half. Riley Gesinski netted the first goal in the 5th minute with an assist from Dionna Santia. Emily Bonelli quickly followed up with two goals in less than a minute, the first assisted by Gesinski and the second by Logan Jennings.Jennings then added another goal in the 19th minute, assisted by Bonelli. Emma Reyes capped the first half with a goal in the 44th minute, assisted by Sierra Frisoli.

In the second half, Kathryn Chiado scored the lone goal in the 52nd minute, bringing her season total to five. UPG dominated the shot count, recording 30 shots with 15 on target, while limiting the opponent to just 3 shots with 2 on goal. Goalkeepers Paige John and Mia Camps both contributed to the clean sheet.

The Bobcats clinched the No. 2 seed in the AMCC Playoffs and will play again on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
