Match one saw the Bearcats sweep doubles play. Junior Michael Opal took the No. 1 Singles match to a third-set tiebreak after dropping set two. Matthew Sadusky of Saint Vincent took the 10-point third set 10-5.
Match two also saw the Bearcats take the doubles point. The Bearcats switched their lineup around, giving us a matchup of former teammates in the No. 3 Singles match. Former Bobcat Deven Summers, now a graduate student at Saint Vincent, took down sophomore Ryan Cole 4-6, 3-6. Cole battled to the closest of all singles matches but couldn't overcome the deficit.
