Domer, Solinski Clear the Fence; Baseball Splits With Bradford

Greensburg - The Bobcat Baseball Team kept its AMCC playoff hopes alive on the bats of Colin Solinski and James Domer who both hit late home runs, including a go ahead three run shot by Domer in the seventh inning of game two to give the Bobcats a 12-10 win. Doemr also recorded his fourth save of the season, tying a school record for saves in a season. Solinski drove in three runs in game two while senior Mason Boehm drove in two himself.

Game one was 3-2 going into the fourth inning, but the Panthers scored two more in the fourth inning and four runs in the seventh to close the door. The Bobcats managed seven hits, all singles. 

The Bobcats fell behind 9-1 and mounted a comeback while Nicholas Laubach, Matt Mazzara, and James Domer combined for 6.2 innings of relief, giving up four runs and striking our five. Mazzara earned his second win of the season with his 3.1 innings of relief. The Bobcats offense was hot as they had 14 hits in the game. Six Bobcats had multi-hit games. Half of the Bobcats hits went for extra bases. 

Pitt-Greensburg will go back to non conference play tomorrow against Fredonia at Bobcat Park. First pitch wil be at 1 PM.
