Takac Nets First Goal; Bobcats Earn Draw With Titans

GREENSBURG – The Bobcat Men's Soccer team returned to Ridilla Field after a two-match Labor Day Weekend to take on the Titans of Westminster. A late first-half goal by the Titans gave them the lead into the halftime break, but Leyton Takac's first career collegiate goal pulled the Bobcats even, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Titans out shot the Bobcats 20-8, with seven shots getting on goal. Sophomore Nick Braun made six saves for Pitt-Greensburg. The Bobcats forced the Westminster keeper into four saves. Freshmen Takac and Ivan Remaley recorded the three Bobcat shots on goal.

Pitt-Greensburg will travel to Reading this weekend to take on Albright. Kickoff will be Saturday at 4:00 PM.
