Bobcats Offense Explodes in Win Over Bryn Athyn

BRYN ATHYN, Penn – It was a homecoming of sorts for Pitt-Greensburg junior forward Megan Hickey as she and the Bobcats traveled to the Philadelphia area to take on Bryn Athyn. Hickey, who is plenty familiar with the turf at General Ronald K. Nelson Field, recorded three points with an assist and a goal, both her firsts of the season.
 
Senior Sarah Tonkovich and Junior Reese Walker also found the back of the net for the Bobcats. Junior Keeper Mia Camps made five saves. Pitt-Greensburg out shot Bryn Athyn 19 to eight with 12 of the shots getting on goal. The Bobcats kept the pressure up, tallying eight corner kicks.
 
The Bobcats will be back at it tomorrow as they take on Gwynedd Mercy at 1:00 PM.
