La Roche Takes Down Women's Basketball

PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team traveled to Pittsburgh tonight to take on La Roche inside Kerr Fitness & Sports Center. The RedHawks defeated the Bobcats 96-50.
 
The Bobcats had two players score in double figures, led by Autumn Matthews, who scored 12 points, grabbed six rebounds, and recorded two steals. Tiana Moracco scored ten points over 35 minutes and grabbed five rebounds with two steals. La Roche held the Bobcats to 35.3 percent shooting from the floor. The RedHawks shot a perfect 11 for 11 from the free-throw line and made 39 of 87 shots from the floor. La Roche outscored the Bobcats 52-24 in the paint.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will travel to Bradford to take on the Panthers this Saturday, January 18. Tip-off will be at 4 p.m.
