Women's Basketball Earns First AMCC Victory in Hard-Fought Battle

BRADFORD, PA – It's a night to celebrate for the Pitt-Greesburg women's basketball team, and in particular, Head Coach Julie Bolden. Not only did the Bobcats earn their first win of 2025, but the team secured its first AMCC victory and, in turn, Bolden's first AMCC victory as head coach of the Bobcats. Pitt-Greensburg took down the Panthers in a Pitt-on-Pitt clash, led by Trinity Lockwood-Morris and her 18 points.
 
The two teams played it close for the majority of the game, however, the difference was the Bobcats outscoring the Panthers 17-8 in the second quarter, giving Pitt-Greensburg a seven-point lead going into the half. Freshman Autumn Matthews missed out on yet another double-double, playing well regardless, scoring 14 points and securing nine rebounds. The Bobcats forced the Panthers into 21 turnovers, scoring 21 points off of the turnovers.
 
The Bobcats will return inside Chambers Hall on Wednesday, taking on Mount Aloysius at 7 PM.
