Women's Basketball Drops High-Paced Affair to Mount Aloysius

GREENSBURG, PA – The Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team welcomed the Mounties of Mount Aloysius inside Chambers Hall on Wednesday. Four lead changes and three ties, mainly in the first half, ended with Mount Aloysius coming out on top 78-59.
 
Tiana Moracco led the Bobcats with 19 points, seven rebounds, five steals, and three assists. Trinity Lockwood-Morris was a leader in the fast break, scoring 16 points while bringing down six rebounds and three assists. The Bobcats scored 30 points in the paint and 20 fast-break points. The team also scored 23 points off 24 Mountie turnovers. The difference in the game may have been the Mounties three-point shooting. Mount shot 42 percent from behind the arc, including Angelina Kohlwaies going 6-for-9.
 
The Bobcats will host Penn State Behrend on Saturday inside Chambers Hall. Tip-off will be at 4 p.m.
